In reply to your letter of the 29th of Decerbor, No. F.3650/2405/10 regarding a revenue launch of the Chinese Salt Administration which has taken refuge at Hongkong. I am directed by the Duke of Devonshire to tranacit to you, to be laid before the Marquess Curzon of Kedleston, copies of telegraphic Correspondence with the Governor of Hongkong on the matter.

I am to take this opportunity to enclose,

for Lord Curzon's confidential information, copies

of personal telegraphic correspondence between the Secretary of State and Sir M.Stubbs on the subject of the latter's attitude towards Dr.Sun's Government.
